Captain Todd Black

USCG certified Captain Todd Black is the owner and operator of Black Velvet Charters. Captain Todd was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. He began fishing the waterways of Cocodrie, LA as a young boy with his dad and the original owner of the boat, “The Black Velvet”. Captain Todd’s favorite fish to catch are Big Trout on topwater and mangrove snapper.
Captain Branson Marks
USCG certified Captain Branson Marks fell in love with fishing as soon as he could hold a rod and reel. Branson is the son of Pro Bass fisherman Paul Marks, who started Tackle Connect. After graduating from college, Branson became a USCG certified charter boat captain to follow his love of fishing.
