The Fish Heads LA dock is approximately 1 hour and 35 minutes from downtown New Orleans or 85 miles. If you have ever fished with Black Velvet Charters, you know where we’re at, directly across the street! Together we are really excited to share our new custom dock with you. If you have ever taken a trip to Venice Louisiana fishing, you will experience nearly the same exact drive time, so it’s just as convenient to access beautiful open waters! Feel free to come early or stay late and enjoy our covered dock and entertainment area. Have a beer while you wait for your fish cleaning by our expert fishing guides, catch up on the news or sports on our 72’’ flat-screen TV, relax on our swing, have fun while you pass the time by playing one of our dock games like Darts, Mega Ginga, Corn Hole, and Tiki Toss Hook & Ring Game. We also have a restroom with a shower if you want to freshen up after the best fishing trip, so remember to bring a towel! If you’re coming with a big crew don’t worry we have ample off-street parking!!!
